MEET OUR FOUNDER
Vanessa Jimenez

Vanessa Jimenez is a visionary leader, cultural storyteller, and creative strategist with over 18 years of experience transforming nonprofits, leaders, and communities. In February 2020, Vanessa embarked on a mission to make a meaningful impact in the social sector, founding and leading Mezcla Mosaic Collaborative. Vanessa lives at the intersection of culture, strategy, and story, helping organizations and leaders move from intention to transformational impact.
Her work is deeply rooted in restorative practices, community-centered design, and the power of story as a tool for transformation. From guiding organizations through leadership transitions to designing creative ecosystems like Casa Mezcla, an up & coming creative co-working and cultural space, Vanessa cultivates spaces where people feel seen, stories ignite strategies, and change feels possible.
Vanessa brings a culturally grounded, intuitive approach to her work, bridging lived experience with strategic clarity through empathy, connectedness, and story as the anchor. Whether she is facilitating a room, advising executive leaders, or sharing stories on stages across the country, Vanessa invites people into deeper connection, courageous reflection, and collective reimagination. And while we don't center credentials here at Mezcla, we do recognize their importance in our journeys. To that end, Vanessa has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Master of Organizational Leadership, and certifications in emotional intelligence, equity and inclusion education, and is a qualified administrator of IDI.
