MEET THE FOUNDER
Vanessa Jimenez
In February 2020, Vanessa embarked on a mission to make a meaningful impact in the social sector. She launched Mezcla Mosaic Collaborative, LLC, an organizational development consulting collaborative that amplifies consultants who have diverse lived experiences, skills and knowledge to lead systems change work in the social sector.
Vanessa's journey is deeply rooted in her experiences as a Latina woman navigating predominantly white spaces. She's spent her life working tirelessly to dismantle oppressive systems and uplift historically marginalized voices, with a particular focus on women.
With nearly 15 years of executive leadership experience in diverse fields like foundations, community nonprofits, higher education, and professional organizations, Vanessa is a true powerhouse. Her credentials are impressive: a Master of Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, a Diversity Education certificate, and the distinction of being a Qualified Administrator of IDI, Inc. work. But what makes her truly special is her passion for self-expression through the arts and her ability to utilize it in her approach to systems.

Vanessa is a writer, photographer, and storyteller who has graced stages across the country, sharing her unique perspective on identity, culture, and social issues. She seamlessly blends her executive skills with her creative talents, bringing a fresh and innovative approach to reimagining systems, organizations, and leadership in her work with clients.
Vanessa specializes in capacity building, strategy and visioning, board and leadership coaching and training, DEIB education and culture change management.
